Stage positions

A stage position is where the performer should be for a given lyric line — stage left, centre, on the riser. It rides along with the lyrics, so the line that tells the singer what to sing also tells them, and the crew, where to be.

Setting the positions up

1. Open the LYRICS tab and switch to Position.
2. Add this show's positions to the roster — for example Stage Left, Centre, Riser.
3. Select one or more lyric lines, then assign a position to them. The selection shortcuts from the lyrics list work here: Ctrl / Cmd-click to add, Shift-click for a range.

Where positions show up

• The full-screen teleprompter, beside the line being sung.
• The operator face.
• The crew viewer, for anyone following the show on a phone or a laptop.

Positions are saved inside the show file along with the lyrics and the member roster, so they travel with the project to another machine.
