Is there a free trial?
Yes — 30 days of all Pro features, no credit card. The free tier keeps LTC reading, generation, dual waveform, A-B loop, tap BPM, and video import indefinitely.
How is LTCast licensed?
LTCast is proprietary software, © HAI FANG DESIGN CO., LTD. The app is freemium: core features are free forever, and Pro is $99/year (or $29 for a 7-day pass). Both the Windows installer and the Apple-notarized macOS DMG download directly from us and run fully offline after install.
What if my show is offline?
LTCast runs completely offline after activation. A Pro license has a 30-day offline grace period — perfect for venues without stable internet. It silently re-validates in the background every few hours when a connection is available.
Do I need extra hardware?
For LTC output, a free virtual audio cable (VB-CABLE on Windows, BlackHole on macOS). For MTC / MIDI Clock, a virtual MIDI port (loopMIDI on Windows, the built-in IAC Driver on macOS). Art-Net and OSC are just network — no hardware.

Can I control LTCast from a Stream Deck or another machine?
Not yet. Remote control — a Bitfocus Companion module for Stream Deck, and OSC input for play / pause / next / select song — is on the roadmap, not in this build. What LTCast does today is send: LTC, MTC, MIDI Clock, Art-Net and OSC out, plus the read-only Viewer Mirror your crew opens in a browser.
